Cookies & privacy
For almost any modern website to work properly, it needs to collect certain basic
information on its users. To do this, a site will create files known as cookies –
which are small text files – on its users’ computers.
Cookies do a lot of different jobs which make your experience of the Internet much

How do we use cookies?
We use cookies ONLY for site functionality (e.g. logins - where a page needs to confirm
to another page on the site that you have already logged in, or to prevent our Cookie
Policy screen being offered to the same user repeatedly, or for the contents of your
basket when using our web shop.)
We do NOT use web beacons or clear GIFs at all.
We do our utmost to respect users’ privacy. We do NOT host or sell advertising space.
We do NOT use cookies to track your visits to this site OR any other third party
site.
We believe that your experience of the site would be adversely affected if you opted
out of the cookies we use. - With cookies disabled, you would NOT be able to log
in in order to complete tests or questionnaires, and you would be repeatedly offered
our cookie policy
There are two types of cookie:
Persistent cookies remain on a user’s device for a set period of time specified in
the cookie. They are activated each time that the user visits the website that created
that particular cookie.
Session cookies are temporary. They allow website operators to link the actions of
a user during a browser session. A browser session starts when a user opens the browser
window and finishes when they close the browser window. Once you close the browser,
all session cookies are deleted.
We use both types of cookie, but they are ONLY used for this site. There are NO tracking
cookies used.
NO data is collected through the use of cookies, either for statistical purposes
or for any other purpose. WE never use tracking cookies, nor do we host them.
NO data is shared by ASDTi with others as a result of your use of cookies.
